William Bogusz

William Bogusz, 78, passed away in his home in West Branch on the morning of Tuesday, July 25, 2017.

He was born March 23, 1939, and raised in Michigan. Bill moved to California as a young adult, where he chose fields of employment where he could do what he loved — helping other people. Upon retirement, he moved back home to Michigan to spend more time with family. Bill, or “Bogie” as he was fondly known by many friends, loved baseball. He was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers baseball fan as well as a fan of the Detroit Tigers. Bill brought happiness and laughter into the lives of so many people with his sincere kindness and friendly sense of humor.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Autumn (Kip) Yontz; grandchildren, Cameron (Lauren Schipani) Koss and Samantha (Andy) Borowiak; great-grandson, Blake Borowiak; sister, Patricia A. Moyer; his many nieces and nephews; and Shirley Bogusz.

Cremation has taken place and no service is scheduled at this time.
