Wanita Eileen Sauve, 80, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, at the Villa at West Branch.

She was born Feb. 12, 1939, in Flint to Ernest and Lillian (Yoder) Schram. Wanita lived in Ogemaw County for more than 47 years, formerly of Bay City. She married Charles Sauve in Bay City on Jan. 7, 1956. She loved her family, horses and crocheting.

Wanita is survived by her loving husband, Charles Sauve of West Branch; children, Debbie (Charles) Kraxner of West Branch, Sherry (Glenn) Kempel of West Branch, Todd Sauve of Gaylord and Scott (Carla) Sauve of Florida; grandchildren, Christie (Scott) Courture, Joshua Kraxner, Emily Kraxner, Evan (Kristi) Kraxner, Sarah (Daren)Walters, Jodi (Kevin)Taylor, Samantha (Benjamin) Denstedt-Binnion and Savannah (Robert) Dillon; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Jamie and Jerry Sauve; and grandson, Tim Sauve.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later time.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
