Surline Elementary students visit the Ogemaw County Courthouse for pinwheel ceremony


WEST BRANCH -- The Surline Elementary School third-grade class visited the Ogemaw County Courthouse April 3 to participate in a pinwheel ceremony to raise awareness of child abuse and neglect.

The students participated in a mock trial after placing their pinwheels and were treated to root beer floats after the guilty verdict was given.
