Posted

WEST BRANCH — Surline Middle School students and volunteers planted flowers along Houghton Avenue Tuesday, May 19, as part of a beautification project organized by PTO President Kelly Gough and Michigan State Police trooper and City councilman Paul Frechette.

Michigan State Police troopers and city police officers volunteered their time to help with the project, along with various community members. The city of West Branch and local businesses provided a hot dog lunch for the students and volunteers. The DDA purchased the flowers from the West Branch Greenhouse.
