Single-vehicle accident forces closure

WEST BRANCH — A 67-year-old Lupton man has been sent to the hospital and southbound I-75 at Exit 212 is closed following a single-vehicle semi-truck rollover accident early Nov. 28.
According to Michigan State Police Sgt. Mike Brown, at approximately 5:22 a.m. law enforcement was dispatched to the accident.
Brown said a witness reported the truck swerving from the right-hand lane across the left lane, and the semi-truck left the roadway and rolled over in the median.
Crews are on scene working to clear the accident.
The driver of the tractor trailer was transported to the hospital by Ogemaw County EMS. The condition of the driver is unknown at this time.
