Posted

WEST BRANCH — Ogemaw County Prosecutor LaDonna Schultz hosted third-grade students from Whittemore-Prescott Elementary for the annual pinwheel garden ceremony at the Ogemaw County Building April 5.

Students who attended the event interacted with Schultz, Michigan State Police Community Service Tpr. Shane Noble and others as they discussed the importance of increasing public awareness of child abuse.

Following the discussion, students participated in a mock trial, which found Assistant Prosecutor Scott Williams guilty of throwing a rock on the playground of Whittemore-Prescott Elementary School that hit and injured Courtney Wilga.
