Northbound I-75 exit ramp to be closed overnight Aug. 16

WEST BRANCH — The Michigan Department of Transportation announced an overnight closure Aug. 16-17 of the northbound I-75 exit ramp at Exit 212.

Ajax Paving Industries will finish paving the exit ramp during the closure.

The paving is part of a $22 million project extending from the Arenac and Ogemaw County line 6.5 miles to Exit 212.

The overall project began March 29 and is scheduled to be completed Nov. 10, according to MDOT.

During the ramp closure, which spans from 9 p.m. Aug. 16 to 9 a.m. Aug. 17, traffic will be detoured to M-55 at Exit 215 and can either exit there or travel south on I-75 to the southbound exit at 212.
