Morning rains clear for a hopping good time at Optimist Easter Egg Hunt


WEST BRANCH - Hundreds of children stormed the tennis courts at Irons Park in West Branch for the West Branch Optimist Club's annual Easter Egg Hunt April 15.

The event was divided into two segments by age and kicked off at noon. The children five-and-younger had the first opportunity to collect the eggs, candy and prizes before the attention turned to the older children on the other court.
