Joseph John Rupinski, 82, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at his home in Twining. He lived in Twining since 1998, formerly of Clinton Township.

Joseph was born April 20, 1935, in Utica to Joseph and Annette (Gawlikowski) Rupinski. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 324. He enjoyed hunting, tinkering in his garage, building and fabricating things and hobby farming.

Joseph is survived by his children, Joseph Theodore Rupinski, Christopher Eric Rupinski, Michael Don Robert Rupinski and Stephanie Lynn (Roger) Wangler; grandchildren, Jonathan and Jordan Rupinski; step-grandchildren, Bo (Karen) Wangler, Teri (Jeffrey) Grieb and Kimberly (Thomas) Buhlman; eight great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Fiona Brenner; and nieces, Ann Ryberg and Kimberly Pickens.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Pickens.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at 1-3 p.m. A graveside service will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Branch at 3:30 p.m.
