Jeanette Mary Stancato, 83, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at St. Mary’s hospital in Saginaw. She had been a part-time and full-time resident of Lupton for the past 50 years, formerly of Taylor.

Jeanette was born Jan. 29, 1934, to Leo and Mary Winalis in Detroit. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing cards, painting, quilting, crafts, gardening and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandchild.

Jeanette is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Al Stancato; children, Denise (Floyd) Norscia, Gary (Diane) Stancato, Kevin Stancato and Greg (Janice) Stancato; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Robert (Kaye) Winalis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and sister.

A memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, at Holy Family Catholic Church in West Branch at 10 a.m. with a gathering following. Father Patrick Maher will officiate.
