George E. Drensky

George Edward Drensky, 73, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019, at his home in West Branch surrounded by his family.
He was born June 18, 1945, in Alpena to John and Isbel (Easton) Drensky. George lived in West Branch for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Bernice Neubecker in West Branch on Nov. 6, 1982. George was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 2022. He was the jack of all trades and enjoyed woodworking, watching and feeding the birds and spending time with his granddaughter.
George is survived by his loving wife, Bernice Drensky of West Branch; son, Trevor Drensky of West Branch; daughter, Wendy Drensky of Guthrie, Okla.; granddaughter, Keira Drensky; sister, Janet Thomas of Calabash, N.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rayanne Drensky; son, George Drensky Jr.; and sisters, Heather Drensky and Isbel Fox.
A memorial service will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, at 11 a.m. with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Father Elias Chinzara will officiate.
