Franklin W. Kapp

Died Sept. 8, 2018


Franklin William Kapp, 88, cherished husband of 57 years of the late Carol Ann Kapp, longtime resident of West Branch, passed away peacefully Sept. 8, 2018.

Frank was a longtime 4-H agent, starting in Ohio and eventually moving to Michigan. Toward the end of his career, he sold plat book ads. Frank was an active member of the community, was involved in the First United Methodist Church of West Branch and Optimist International, and was an avid golfer. In his years after retirement, he enjoyed gardening, golfing and traveling to Arizona with Carol.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Todd); granddaughter, Sara; and grandson, Alex. He was the dear brother of the late Dorothy, Robert, Edna, Wayne and Paul.

A memorial gathering will be held Oct. 20, 2018, at the Methodist Church of West Branch, 2490 W. State Rd., West Branch, MI 48661, from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Branch Optimist Club, P.O. Box 545, West Branch, MI 48661.
