Ellis “John” Puff Jr., 68, of Rose City passed away at his home April 10, 2018.

He was born to the late Ellis and Betty Puff Sr. on July 5, 1949, in Newaygo. John retired from General Motors after more than 30 years of employment. He was a member of the Hale Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG). John enjoyed anything outdoors, including riding his Harley, ice fishing and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Connie J. Puff; his daughters, Tina (John) Kramer of Davison and Amy Puff of Flint; his stepson, Jimmy E. Blakeley Jr. of Louisville, Ky.; his siblings, Iris McFadden, Mickie Puff, Robin Teeple, Anita Teeple and Randy Puff; grandchildren, Cyle Blakeley, Michael Kramer and Ryan Molloseau; and great-grandchildren, Destiny Blakeley and Jaxon “Bubba” Blakeley.

John was preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Tellier, Sally Puff and Dawn Puff.
