Posted

WEST BRANCH — The stands were packed at Ogemaw Heights High School March 17 for “The Big Game in God’s Country” basketball fundraiser, which had the Detroit Lions facing off against the Ogemaw County Crime Stoppers All-Stars.

Former Lions Herman Moore, Rob Rubick, Cory Schlesinger, Derrick Williams, Scott Conover and Brock Gutierrez were on hand to take on the Crime Stoppers All-Stars, with the Lions winning the game, 53-52.

The final score wasn’t the highlight though, as the game was about getting the fans involved on and off the court, including a halftime autograph signing period and a ceremony to honor local Air Force recruits.

Below, check out some video from the second half of the game.
