Convoy leaves West Branch to provide relief to southern states

A convoy that included several semi-trailers full of agricultural supplies left West Branch early Friday morning headed south to provide assistance to those affected by the wildfires in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas in early March. More than 1.4 million acres were damaged by fire, much of it farmland. In the recent weeks, several local members of the agricultural community gathered together to organize the relief effort. They left Kmart in West Branch at 7 a.m. Friday morning.
