Annual Fly-In to feature breakfast, airplanes and entertainment

WEST BRANCH — The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1253 will host its 17th annual Fly-In event June 17.

Held annually to support the airport and aviation in general, the family-friendly event at the West Branch Community Airport is held from 7 a.m. to noon and kicks off with a pancake breakfast. The breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage and refreshments.

At the event children will have the opportunity to build and fly balsa airplanes and participate in a candy drop at 11 a.m.

There will also be a wide variety of airplanes on display for public perusal.

The event also features a 50-50 raffle as a fundraiser for the club to help with airport improvements.
