Bernice Wolfe, 92, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018, at her home in Lupton. She lived in Lupton since 1998, formerly of St. Helen.

Bernice was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Allen County, Ind., to David and Dolly (Heatherly) Bridges. She married Roy Wolfe in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Dec. 28, 1946. Bernice was a member of the West Branch Church of the Nazarene and a proud wife of a minister. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, dolls, painting ceramics and tending to the flowers in her garden.

Bernice is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Roy Wolfe; children, David (Carolyn) Wolfe, Dianne (Jon) Reece and Deborah (Robin) Charles; grandchildren, Angela (Craig) Pullen, Stephen Wolfe, Robin (Jacob) Cooper, Tammy (Ryan) Redwine, Carrie (Tracey) Colson, Joe (Reece) Mellie, Shelly (Gene) Lucas, Anne (Eddie) Newell and David (Carrie) Moody; 22 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Frain and Evangeline Ammerman; and daughter-in-law, Rita Wolfe.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel S. Wolfe; grandchildren, Lena Wolfe, Erica Wolfe and Daniel Wolfe; and siblings, David Bridges and Joanne Bridges.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, at noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen. Pastor Les Barkman will officiate.
