Agnes Marie Wymer, 80, of West Branch went home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side.

Agnes was born Feb. 9, 1939, to Juan and Theresa Comas in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was happily married to the love of her life, Gale Wymer, on July 1, 1961. They shared 58 wonderful years together raising four children.

Agnes worked for Dr. Jeffrey Schubert DDS for many years. She then spent 15 years working as a secretary for the West Branch City Police Department, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed socializing, daily trips to town, bingo, word search books, cross-stitch, watching “Jeopardy,” walking in town and bragging about her family.

Agnes is survived by her loving husband, Gale Wymer; children, Doug (Susan) Wymer, Robin (Jim Johnson) Wymer, Mary (Mark) Ostrander and Chris Wymer; grandchildren, Sara (Gary) Rau, Theresa (Geran) Zettle, Kyle (Samantha) Wymer, Diane (Josh) Lehman, Robby (Lori Hamilton) Robbins, Ryan (Mattie) Coppens, Jenafer Ostrander and Keri Ostrander; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen Zatyko; brothers, Tommy Joe Gondek, Frank Gondek, Timmy Gondek, Jimmy Gondek and Stan Gondek; sisters-in-law, Louann Wymer and Janice Urie; and brothers-in-law, Wally McComb and Toby Wymer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Comas, Frank and Theresa Gondek; father- and mother-in-law, Olin and Agnes Wymer; brother, Tony Gondek; sister-in-law, Janette McComb; and brothers-in-law, Jack Wymer and Larry Wymer.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Sunday, July 14, 2019, from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, July 15, at 1 p.m. Father Emmanuel Finbarr will officiate. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery.
