Accident involving vehicle, bicycle occurs at Cedar, Huron intersection


STANDISH — A woman suffered non-lethal injuries after she was struck on her bicycle by a truck towing a trailer at the intersection of Cedar and Huron streets.

The truck was traveling northbound at the intersection when the woman allegedly failed to adhere to the crosswalk signal, pulling in front of the truck, according to Arenac County undersheriff Don McIntyre.

McIntyre said the woman was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
