WEST BRANCH —West Branch-Rose City Area Schools’ fall student count numbers show significant gains over the previous year, with preliminary non-audited numbers showing an addition of 45 students this year for a total of 2,082 despite losing about 150 students in the graduating class. more
HALE — Hale Area Schools saw a drop of 24 students from fall last year to fall this year, and is down 22 students in the blended count that includes spring and fall counts. However, according to Superintendent Loren Vannest, unlike other districts, the count has little effect on the money the district receives from the state. more
